Ok, well here's my opinion:
I know many of you are Ashfur fans, but personally I do not like Ashfur at all really. I don't think we should change the journey. Other cats could go, of course, but not like that. I say that all the original journeying cats go, and none of them be replaced. Besides, no one I know who reads warriors wanted Ashfur and Squirrelflight to be together, and I doubt that tons of people would want it the other way.

Well, I still want it to go that way. I'll wait to hear what Spottedleaf has to say, though. I still really want this plot change. ((And I know that you may not like Ashfur. Personally, I prefer him to Brambleclaw))

Yah, I suppose so. But as I said, of all my warriors-loving friends (of which I have at least ten), I don't think any of them like Ashfur over Brambleclaw. Maybe one, and that's about it. You can sympathize with Ashfur, of course, but I think one of the main problems between him and Squirrelflight... is that he's the ideal mate. She wants someone who respects her integrity, but Ashfur was too protective and all 'I'll save you!' over her, which she didn't like at all. I don't know, that's my opinion anyway -.-

Oh yes, it very well could be. I wouldn't be too swore about it if it was a different cat, it's just Brambleclaw is my favorite cat in the whole series! I don't know much about Ashfur, and I think because you don't really follow him that much it's harder for someone (like me anyway) to get to know him. I think he and Whitewing would make such a cute couple XD

I can't say I'm a big Ashfur fan, but I really like the overall theme of your story. I suggest that, instead of using Ashpaw, you should use Hawkpaw (frost). His bond with Brambleclaw would be stronger because they're brothers. But yeah, still, I really like the idea. ^_^

Hmm... have Hawkfrost go instead of Feathertail? Mhmhmhmm... it's an interesting idea, but I'm too much of a FeatherxXxStorm fan... but then again, that'd mean Feathertail would still be alive, so I'm good! Though we might still want Storm to go... I do, anyway.

Well, here's the only problem I have with it then (majorly):
#1: I, and many others, LOVE Brambleclaw and would hate to see him go bad.
#2: If the kits weren't related to Tigerstar and BC and SF wouldn't be together, then several prophecies (Blood will spill blood/Tiger and Fire) would be majorly distorted.
#3: Ashfur and Squirrelflight had no and HAVE no capatability. They're good friends but not so good mates. I could never see Ashfur living up to what Squirrelflight needs in a "guy".
#4: We may never get to the Journey, considering this is only a fan sight and we haven't even been following the Fire_STAR_ plot. He's already Fireheart and he's not the deputy... nor is Tigerclaw banished. So, why make changes for something that could never happen?
That's just my problems with it. I mean, it's a really good idea, I just don't feel right tampering with Erin's plot that extremely.

#2: I already had an idea on how to fix that.
#3: They may work together well, depending on how I develop him.
#4: Well, I wasn't going to change that part.
After thoroughly turning this over in my mind, I've changed my request.

Ok. As I said, it's a good plot I just think it's got a few quirks. Still, I'm sure you could modify it somehow. Besides, technically only Lionpaw was SF's kit anyway.
