Name: Nightpaw
Age: 7 moons
Gender: She-cat
Rank Apprentice
Clan: ShadowClan (currently Loner)
Appearance: Nightpaw is a sleek and slender jet-black she-cat. Her whole body is an array of nightly shade. Her back paws are larger than her front. Her claws are longest of the litter, and very deadly. Her ears are tall and thin, like Canyonpaw's, and are alway erect. She has excellent hearing. She has a gray-black nose, and has excellent scenting skills. Her brilliant navy blues are beautiful, but have a milky sheen.
She would be scary to meet in combat when she becomes a warrior. Her deadly speed and swift fighting attacks could leave any cat begging for mercy. Could, if she were not blind.

Personality: Nightpaw is kind and gentle. Or was, until she learned that her blind being made it hard to become a warrior. She wished to be normal, to see, to fight. She lost her spirit then, and became sad and sour. She can be fun, but is often in a foul mood. She still needs to learn to hold her tongue.
Nightkit loves playing with freshly caught prey. Catching it's warm body in her paws makes her heart pound. But not being able to actually see her prey makes her very upset. Also, being the only girl of her litter makes her unhappy.
History: (The history comes from a bio on an older site, so it talks about multiple cats though this bio is only for one.)
The kits were born of mysterious parents. They each remember something about them in turn. Canyonpaw remembers he soft, sweet scent of the mother. Rootpaw remembers the soft gaze and gentle tone of the mother. Nightpaw remembers the stony black figure of the father. Sycamorepaw remembers the rough voice, like tumbling boulders, of the father.
The parents gave up their kits willing to ShadowClan. The kits were led close to camp, and pushed through the barrier. Afterward, the parents seemed to vanish. No cat could catch a scent trail or anything. The kits were raised by several foster mothers, until their most recent. Mottledfur was the worst foster mother that could be asked for, but they had to find someone. So, being the only she-cat willing, she raised them for two moons. The kits were excited to be apprentices, not only for the sake of training, but so they could finally have the freedom to find the missing parent and solve the mystery. That, and to be relieved of Mottledfur.
The kits, being very different, yet being pulled together by oddly close bonds, believe that there is an answer to their hopeful prayers sent to StarClan. Nightpaw wanted to be a leader. She knew that this wasn't possible, being blind. But she was determined to try. And then, she learned of a daunting secret she contained.
Canyonpaw ran off just before his ceremony. Nightpaw went off with Sycamorepaw once they had become apprentices. They had soon found him. He had joined SilenceClan, where they had been quick to accept him. When Nightpaw and Sycamorepaw had tried to convince him home, he attacked them. Nightpaw was seriously wounded, and the two ran off. They lived as Loners, Nightpaw being unable to travel home. Sycamorepaw couldn't fetch help, by his being mute. So they lived alone, waiting until they could finally return.
Other: Nightpaw is blind.
